Shipping Policy

At House Affairs, we are committed to delivering your orders safely and efficiently.

1. SHIPPING CHARGES

·         Within India:

o    Free shipping on orders above ₹500

o    Flat ₹100 shipping charge on orders below ₹500

·         International Shipping:

o    Flat USD 20 for orders below USD 100

o    Free shipping on orders above USD 100

2. SHIPPING PARTNERS

We work with reputed courier and logistics providers to deliver your orders.

House Affairs reserves the right to select or change the shipping partner for any order based on serviceability, operational requirements, or logistics efficiency. Any mention of specific courier partners is indicative and not binding.

3. ORDER PROCESSING & DELIVERY

·         Estimated delivery timelines are mentioned on individual product pages and are indicative in nature

·         Orders are typically delivered between Monday to Saturday, 9 AM – 7 PM, excluding public holidays

Delivery timelines may vary due to location, courier performance, weather conditions, strikes, customs clearance, or other unforeseen circumstances. House Affairs shall not be liable for such delays.

4. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION & LIABILITY

Orders shall be considered successfully delivered once marked as delivered by our logistics partner and/or supported by proof of delivery (OTP, signature, or delivery confirmation/photo).

·         Any issues related to delivery must be reported within 24 hours of delivery status update

5. ADDRESS ACCURACY & CHANGES

·         Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping details

·         House Affairs is not responsible for delivery failures due to incorrect or incomplete address

·         Address changes:

o    Allowed only before dispatch

o    Subject to serviceability and operational feasibility

6. DELIVERY ATTEMPTS & FAILED DELIVERY

·         Our courier partners may attempt delivery multiple times

·         If delivery fails due to:

o    Customer unavailability

o    Incorrect address

o    Refusal to accept delivery

The order may be returned to origin

In such cases, applicable forward and return shipping charges may be deducted from the refund.

7. ORDER TRACKING

·         Once your order is shipped, tracking details will be shared via email/SMS

·         Customers are responsible for tracking their shipment and ensuring availability for delivery

8. CANCELLATION POLICY

·         Cancellation requests are accepted:

o    Within 24 hours of placing the order, or

o    Before dispatch, whichever is earlier

·         Orders already shipped cannot be cancelled

9. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING & CUSTOMS

·         International orders are shipped via reputed carriers such as DHL, FedEx, or equivalent partners

·         Customers may be required to pay:

o    Import duties

o    Customs taxes

o    Other local charges

These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product or shipping price.

House Affairs is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance processes.
